project superstar

just came back from project superstar results show. chuan mei is out but im quite sure that there will be a revival round and she shall be revived!

before we entered the studio, we saw a crowd of noisy people huddled together and to our amusement and excitement the singapore idols were there! marj and i were initially laughing at the fanatic ways of the fans and then we finally succumbed to our great desires to get close to the idols, we are only young once right?

his eyes were huge, and so was his fan base.


we saw all the other idols except for hardy and jon. im sure there would have been a stampede if they were there.

the land of a thousand smiles

im back!

the best parts of the trip must have been the shopping. M1 and i learnt from our mistakes not to buy what looks interesting but buy what we would use. its not hard to fall into the trap of buying what looks slightly better (but totally useless) when faced with mountains of substandard goods. i would say we really made our dollar stretch and got some good steals =D

the friendly matches were fun too. this small boy that i played with gave me an action figure keychain.


lastly, i got to know and bond with the team, which i think is the most important part of this trip.
