tuesday

we had our health screening in the morning and my eye sight is still perfect at 6/6. the nurse was telling me that very few students she saw nowadays have perfect eyesight and that i was very lucky. yay! i read an article or something before that said that eyesight will not deteriorate once one has passed 18 or 21 years old. so if i can protect my eyes for another 2 years i would be safe from short sightedness for the rest of my life.

later in the afternoons we had our nafta test. the first station was sit ups which i passed with 31 sit ups. the bare minimum for an A so i didnt waste my energy, and i couldnt do more than that anyway. next was inclined pull ups where i was seriously dissapointed with myself. lets just put it that i only did 10 and was 1 pull up away from my C which would have given me my gold. arghh. i got 52cm for sit and reach-A, 186cm for standing board jump - 1cm from A and 11.0s for shuttle run- A. overall i achieved 3 personal best, standing board jump, shuttle run and sit and reach. i think i have a fear of doing inclined pull ups now. nevertheless, i will try for inclined next week. after all, like how sarah puts it, it is better to go away knowing that i tried by best rather than not trying at all. =D

wednesday

after table tennis training today, marjorie and i joined the health and fitness club, who were sharing the hall with us, for a game of floorball! the other people playing with us were extremely supportive and they would randomly shout encouragements or praises everytime someone had hold of the ball so it was all great fun!
