Happy teacher's day!

diane, cheryl, jonathan, marj and i went to dhs after celebrations in vj. met mr siva would couldnt remember my name. so hurt =( and talked to liu lao shi. she is still as nice as before =)

the theme for dhs' celebration is retro party. wonder why they chose it.

hejin brought us around the classrooms to view the painted walls. i expected nicer designs. almost every classroom looked the same, being predominantly pastel and with flowers and rainbows. i like 3C's wall though, the colours are stronger- red, orange and yellow (i think) vertical stripes like Popular's file design.

if i had a chance to paint my class, it would have 4 different scenes for every side of the room.

the first would be of a globe. there are billions of people living on earth, failing an exam would be sooo trival to the world. the globe would thus show us the big picture and serve to destress.

the second would be that of a fireplace with a comfy sofa. beside the sofa would be a plate of cookies =D

i cant think of the 3rd and 4th sides of the wall. anyway, windows take up one side of the room while the whiteboard takes up the other.

the 2 sides of the wall would be painted as life like as possible. cartoonish drawings are kitschy



the 6 wizards had a mini reunion and i really miss the times we shared. diane, cheryl and i joined vip while berlinda and jessalyn joined dhp. poor pei qi is taking 0 levels. muahahhaha

went to parkway after that to meet with kong hwa friends-cheryl (nygs), stephanie (tkgs) and eugene (vs). the 5 of us, including me and marj were from 3 different classes and are in different schools now. how we bonded is truely amazing. oddly, our small grp formed after we graduated and since then we have been meeting almost every public holiday.
