'would you like to donate to MINDS?, its the movement of the intellectually disabled of singapore. each ticket cost $2 and EVERY single cent will go directly to the organisation.'
i sold 25 tickets in 2hours. 2 whole booklets, 2 for daryl and 3 for zheng chen. hahaha. super efficient. thats $50 dollars in total.
some people commented that if i didnt say that every cent would go to MINDS, they wouldnt have donated. others asked which organisation i was from and after i said VJC, they were more obliging.
i expected more people from our class to go, at 9am, only leon, zheng chen, wu yue, nick and I were there. subsequently, onyl darren and daryl came. i hope the rest would come in the afternoon. its all for a good cause anyway. =D
