daaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy

-do u want a long joke or short joke?
-long
-ok. jooooooooooooooke

so, today was a very long day.

if i want to be a millionaire by 65 years old, i have to save $500 every month and the bank should offer a 4% interest rate.

rushed for lit test after the financial literacy week stuff. this test was easier than the orange one. at least it made sense. haha. hope i can at least scrape a pass.

rushed for 400m heats after that. as there were only 6 competitors for the ip category, it became the finals.

i got 5th!!
the last girl stopped halfway to tie her shoelaces =/ but im still 5th. whee
5th sounds nicer than 2nd last

then rushed for medical society training. i could not understand a single word david or his friends were saying.

it sounded something like this to me:
now we shall talk about something im sure ALL of you should know, xxx. in xxx, there are 3 parts, yyy, zzz and aaa. yyy consists of abc and def which you would commonly know as ghj. def contributes to tyu and wop which occurs when ttt and hhh are present.

this continued for around 2 and a half hours, of which i was desperately trying to stay awake. i had to shake marjorie periodically to wake her up.

the various symbols used above had very complicated greek sounding names which on average had 15 letters each. for example, _______, i can't even rememeber. great.

the seniors spoke like we should already know the basics, or at least the JC1s should. to marj, eric and i, it hardly sounded like english. we havent even really studied upper sec science. also, according to them they were teaching university stuff.

the teaching method was also vastly different. they were just regurgitating facts they memorised and nobody asked a single question.

on the whole, it was very dry and boring. but i will still hang on. i guess it would be better when the notes come. at least then i would know what xxx is. =D
