just my thoughts

had a rather long and interesting talk with my cousins about christianity a few weeks back.

i thought of this.

everybody believes in god
god believes in himself
so everybody should believe in himself

what do u think?

    i tot tat was an interesting viewpoint..but if it works tat way, then if i ama nobody, and noby is perfect,i am perfect!!..it doesn't work like maths gal..hahahaz...

    umm. i agree interesting view point. but as for chan nend's statement i beg to differ. i am nobody. in this case you are talking about who you are. more of name or terminology. and the second statement: and nobody is perfect. in this case however, the nobody is refering to nobody in general as "people". so you end up with nobody(term) = nobody(general). and you see, you find that you are actually referring to two different nobodys in context wise so naturally they don't tally. nobody/= nobody.

    and as for marg, you say everyone believes in god. in this context you're talking about everyone believing in GOD. in the second statement: god believes in HIMSELF. you're talking about god believing in god for himself in god's context is god himself and not anyone or everyone else. and you conclude with everyone believe in himself. this does not tally with your second statement for in the third, you are now talking about himself in everybody's context which means the himself now is himself(everybody) and not himself(god). see my point? (:
